I have started to interest in origami in about 1997. In Czech Republic, there was no origami society and no origami web pages. Information about true origami art was very fragmentary, therefore I started to collect the information (and diagrams) from the Internet. Then I made this origami pages - the first origami pages in czech language - which are still under construction. The pages should prompt czech people to interest in origami and help them to start folding.

This web is powered by free webhosting. I have no profit from it, except my pleasure (and - sometimes - a complimentary e-mail).

The main parts of my page:

ball Title page
ball Details (especially historical)
ball Small school of origami
ball Diagrams and links - list of my favorite diagrams and their authors. In the collection, there are diagrams mirrored from the whole world. Why I create local copies? The main advantage is the accessibility. For most czech users downloading from my page is much faster than downloading from other world sites. But, visitor can also follow the link to the author's homepage. (May be, I mirrored an image of your diagram, without asking you. I am very sorry about it - will you be so kind and excuse me, please?)

ball Czech Origami Society (COS) was found in 2003, October the 18-th. The aim of COS is to propagate art of paper folding in Czech Republic, to study folding geometry, to arrange origami seminars and exhibitons and to coact with other origami societies.
