Start with a square piece of paper at least 6 inches across. It should be different colors on the two sides, preferably purple and light green. Also, get a piece of yellow paper, some glue or paste, and a black crayon!

Fold the paper in half, diagonally, and unfold, making a crease.

Fold the two corners in to the center crease.

Fold the bottom point behind the model, lining up with the corners of the flaps made in step 2.

Fold the long point down so it ends up halfway down the green area, and unfold.

Fold the two side corners behind the model.

Fold the two corners in the middle up and out to form the wings.

Fold the top point down using the crease from step 4 to make the beak.

Pinch the top points to make the ears.
Your model should now look like this.

Use your crayon to add wing feathers, smile, and little feet.
Paste on two yellow ovals with black dots to make the eyes.

You're all done!
